Subarnarekha Port organises mega health in Amarda Road, Balasore

833 patients receive treatment in the camp

Bhubaneswar : Subarnarekha Port Private Limited (SPPL) organised a mega health at Siddheswar College, Amarda Road in Balasore district where 833 patients received treatment.
Following the moto of the CSR initiatives of SPPL “Jal, Jeevan and Jivika”, the camp provided door step health service to people from nearby villages like Agrada, Churupada, Barada, Chasipada, Hadmud, Bela, Bagaldiha, Panchvatia, Renupada, etc. where specialist doctors from Medicine, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Dental, Orthopaedic, fields treated them.
The health camp was inaugurated by Prakash Singh, Executive Director, Subarnarekha Port Private Limited and Akshay Kumar Parida, Principal, Siddheswar College, in presence of Jalandhar Jally, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Basta and Baruni Das, IIC Basta.
Thanking the college authority, the district administration and the community for their continued support to the initiatives of SPPL, Prakash Singh said, we are committed for the inclusive growth of the region for which we will organise more such health camps. To help the local youth to upgrade their skills SPPL will open JN Tata Vocational Training Institute shortly in Baliapal, he added.
Six doctors of different specializations including, Dr Namita Nayak, Paediatric, Dr Snigdha Suchitra Bedant, Ophthalmology, and Dr Sibananda Rath, Orthopaedic from District Hospital, Balasore, Dr SB Chaudhry, Medicine Specialist, Community Health Centre (CHC), Soro, and Dr Manik Ratan Pradhan, O&G, CHC, Kamarda, Dr Kakoli Ghose, Dental Surgeon, CHC,Basta had attended the camp.
Principal, faculties, staff, students of Siddheswar College and the local people provided unstinted support to the health camp. In May 2022, SPPL had organised two such health camps where more than 1300 patients were treated.
