USA beat India 8-0, FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup at Kaling Stadium, Bhubaneswar

The Under 17 FIFA Women’s Football World Cup has started at Kaling Stadium in Bhubaneswar. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated it. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Union Minister for Information Broadcasting and Sports and Youth Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of State for Sports Nishat Paramanik and Union Law Minister Kiran Rijiju, FIFA Secretary General Fatima Samoura, A.I.F.F. President Kalyan Chowbe, General manager Saji Prabhakaran and many dignitaries were present.

In the first match of the opening match, Brazil lost to Morocco, while in the second match, USA defeated India by 8-0 goals. While 16 teams have participated in it, they have been placed in 4 groups.
