Bhubaneswar: In a significant stride towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Odisha, Atal Incubation Centre-Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation (AIC-Nalanda), supported by AIM, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India, successfully organized the Odisha Innovation Conclave 2023-24, named AAROHAN, on February 10, 2024.
The inauguration ceremony, honored by the presence of Dr. Chintan Vaishnav, Mission Director, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), highlighted AIM’s foundational role in supporting tinkerers and entrepreneurs. Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman, AICTE & Chief Innovation Officer, MIC, emphasized the importance of technology-led solutions for real-life challenges.
During the event, Shri Dipan Sahu, Assistant Innovation Director, MIC, and Shri Rohit Gupta, Program Director, Atal Innovation Mission, introduced the AIM-IIC Mentoring Linkage Platform. Mr. Durga Prasad, CEO of AIC-Nalanda, shared recent developments and upcoming programs, creating an atmosphere of innovation.
The Conclave provided a platform for startups to showcase pioneering prototypes, while student innovators from Atal Tinkering Labs across Bhubaneswar exhibited ingenious project models. AIC-Nalanda, through such initiatives, continues to be a catalyst for innovation, equipping students with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in an increasingly complex and competitive world.
