Birla Fertility & IVF, India’s most trusted and fastest-growing IVF chain organised a CME on “Expanding Horizons in Infertility Practice”

Bhubaneswar: Birla Fertility & IVF in collaboration with Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Bhubaneswar Obstetric Gynaecological Society organised a CME programme on ‘Expanding Horizons in Infertility Practice’ in Bhubaneswartoday. The event was led by doctors at Birla Fertility & IVF, Dr. Lipsa Mishra, Consultant and Centre Head and Dr. Rohani Nayak, Consultant. The programme featured prominent dignitaries such as Dr.Atra Bandhu Nayak, CDMO, Khordha, Dr. Saroj Sahu, Ex-IMA President, Bhubaneshwar Branch, Prof (Col) Dr. Pankaj Talwar VSM, President Elect, IFS, Dr. J K Panda, IMA & BOGS President, and Dr. Sanjib R Nayak, BOGS Secretary graced the occasion, lending their esteemed presence and insights in the field of IVF and reproductive medicine.

More than 80+ medical practitioners from Bhubaneswar attended the event to learn about the broadening scope and advancements in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) such as In vitro fertilization (IVF), preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), and cryopreservation techniques.

Dr. Lipsa Mishra, Consultant, Birla Fertility & IVF,said, “As per WHO, 1 in 6 couples globally are unable to conceiving naturally and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) has emerged as a revolutionary boon for them.This transformative field of medical science encompasses a range of techniques designed to assist in achieving pregnancy, providing hope and opportunities for those navigating the complexities of infertility. Prof (Col) Dr. Pankaj Talwar, VSM President Elect IFS,highlighted, “The advancements in fertility treatments, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, and genetic screening, contribute to extending the possibilities of conception and family planning. He further added, concept of extending life’s boundaries in fertility often includes discussions on the preservation of reproductive cells, allowing individuals to plan their parenthood beyond the constraints of natural reproductive timelines.”
